Forget the subscription hoo ha - if £10 pa is too much for this indispensable app, that's your choice and I respect that. For me it is worth the money for 2 reasons. 1. it has a brilliant copy and paste temporary pin board feature that saves me hours every week: copy the first item with shift/command and c, then all subsequent ones with the normal command C. Switch to where you want to paste, and then serial command V's to paste them all in in the order you copied them (or reverse order if you choose). Brilliant. 2. Syncs automatically and perfectly with my iphone and ipad - no other clipboard app does that. Only gripe: I wish I could arrange the clipboard down the side like the new iClip, which makes more sense on a wide screen. I've written to the developer about this but had no reply.

This app is so good that even having to deal with the subscription model is completely painless. If $9.99/year too expensive? Apparently for some judging by the number of 1-star reviews below. Been on the Mac platform since I bought a Mac Plus in 1986 and have tried literally dozens of clipboard utilities, and this is by far the best I've used. Some reviewer below called this app cumbersome. It's completely out of the way until I click a side button on my mouse, choose what I want, and then click again and it's gone from sight. My suggestion is that if you skip going to Starbucks for 2 days out of the year, then you can purchase a subscription for an entire year for less than those 2 coffees.
